Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all the treatments we offer at (the Beauty Room & Day Spa Kilsyth)

Book a Treatment:

Treatments can be booked in different ways as follows:

  1. Online via our website using our Phorest Software booking process, this also links into our business Google page :(the Beauty Room & Day Spa), Facebook:(the Beauty Room & Day Spa), Instagram:(thescottishbeautyroom).
  2. Via Our Day Spa Business Telephone Line (01236 823100)

When you book your appointment you will receive  a confirmation email, a reminder email, plus an email to complete all your pre health checks and consultation forms, you must complete these fully and return them to our Day Spa in a timely manner so staff have time to process this information prior to your visit.

Clients:

All clients must be 16 years of age and over.

Pre Treatment Consultation:

When you book your first treatment with us you will receive a client consultation form by email which you must now complete and return, this will enable us to check that there are no contradictions, or reasons we may not be able to carry out your treatment.

Payment:

When you book your online treatment our booking system will capture your card details via Stripe as part of our online booking requirement. You will now pay a % of your treatment as confirmation to our Day Spa, this shows you are committed to attending the bookings you now make in our Day Spa. Full payment will be taken at the time of your appointment.

Payment method:

You can pay by cash, card or Gift Vouchers.

Cancellation Policy:

Please note we operate a cancellations policy.

We can no-longer permit cancellations whereby the salon endures the costs of either late cancellations or “NO-SHOWS”.

Cancelations received within 48 hours of the treatment time will incur a 50% charge and cancellations within 24HRS hours will incur a 100% charge.     “NO-SHOWS will receive 100% charge and a possible future ban from using our Day Spa.

We suggest that you arrive on time for your appointment or just prior but not to early as we have other duties to carryout for your service prior.

Please be advised that all appointment times include consultation. Also booking times are inclusive of client and therapist preparation. Regretfully, late arrival for your appointment or readiness for your treatment may result in a reduction or cancellation of your treatment.

Price & Payment:

Spa treatments and Packages must be paid in full when booking to secure appointments. Cancellation Policy applies. Courses of treatments must be paid on commencement of course and confirmed with a deposit %.

Appointments lasting one hour or longer can be confirmed with a 25% deposit.

Bookings:

Use of the thermal Suite, Day Spa Packages should be booked well in advance, definitely monthly in advance to avoid any disappointment although we will endeavor to accommodate short notice bookings.

Exclusively Yours:

When uncertain of the service you require we have a set charge as follows: (30 minutes £30), (45 minutes £35), (60minutes £40) , (75 minutes £50), (90 minutes £60). Where the treatment cost is creator you will be charged the treatment price plus an additional £15 for administration and extra set up time for your service of choice

Gift Vouchers:

Vouchers can be purchased to a monetary value in our Day Spa or On-Line or for the service/treatment of choice in our Day Spa or over our Business telephone.

All gift vouchers have an Expiry Date, we expect them to be used, please check these dates and use your voucher timely to avoid disappointment, however it may be possible to extend the voucher before the expiry date if adequate notice is given to the spa.

Refunds are not given on Gift Vouchers which have expired.

Goods:

Goods can only be exchanged if they are faulty. Vouchers can only be refunded if we can no longer offer the treatment of choice.

Phones:

We do not permit the use of phones in the Salon, as this does not enhance the “OASIS of PEACE and TRANQUILITY” we have created. They also interfere with the quality finished result of some services ( Nail Services ) etc..

Food:

Food is not permitted for consumption in our Reception, Nail Studio, Tan Room, Treatment Rooms by our clients as this interrupts quality of treatments and can easily contaminate our professional Products/Work areas/Creates disruption to treatment processes and our staff delivering treatments and other customers.

Kilsyth has a selection of Eatery’s  available for clients to utilize prior/after  visits our Day Spa. We are happy to make some recommendations.

Assistance:

If you require additional assistance, please phone ahead of attending an appointment to make any Special arrangements, we are more than willing to accommodate everyone. “Just Ask”.

Children:

Our peaceful Salon is designed for men and women. Please understand that we find it difficult to accommodate young children. Children are forbidden in our spa area and treatment rooms and must be supervised at all times due to Health and Safety Policy’s.

Dress Code:

Loose dark sports style clothing, opened toed sandals are advisable for all tanning treatments, plus a brolly for rainy days.

Strictly; swimwear must be worn in our thermal Suite at all times, Dressing Gowns and Slippers are to be worn at all times in our Day spa, please be advised we have a laundry charge for some of our services i.e. (Thermal Suite use only with no treatments), do ask for laundry if and when you require this additional service. All our Spa packages has laundry included.

Pets:

Pets are not permitted on the premises except assistance Dogs.
